Book 1 with CD and DVD contains very easy arrangements involving five notes on the treble staff and five notes on the bass staff . The student also learns the concept of melody and accompaniment using the chords C and G7 with the left hand. The book includes an introduction to the 4/4 and 3/4 time signatures incorporating quarter, half and whole notes and their equivalent rests. Only the white keys are used.ꀼ扲㸼扲㸊The student is taught how to read music and is introduced to basic terms such as bar lines, repeat signs, melody and harmony.
